Sustainability
Sustainability is a Key to the Group's Success
Adoption of Sustainable Farming Methods and Technolgy
Invariably the Group improves the quality and yield potential of land within its operations. Significant investment is made in the land over the period of the lease. This ensures yields are maximised for given investment in inputs. The Group where possible seek to reduce their dependence on Agri-Chemical inputs, and seeks to use novel and other proven , less intensive methods to increase yield potential
Biofel is an integral member of the community in the regions it farms and will do everything in its power to protect its most important resource – the fertile land of Ukraine. Established crop rotations are maintained to decrease risk of disease and to maintain the quality of the land thereby reducing costs in future years

Supporting The Community
The regions in which the Biofel Group operates rely heavily on agriculture. With investment in agriculture dropping after independence of Ukraine, a source of income for villagers and local authorities dried up within the regions.
Biofel's investment has created jobs and tax revenues for local authorities through land tax employee taxes and value added taxes. Wealth has also been created for local regions through other supporting industries and communities.
